The Challenge

College Place School District operates with a lean leadership structure serving a student population that is nearly half Hispanic. Grant opportunities were available but pursuing them required additional bandwidth. The list of unmet needs was concrete: ADA non-compliant playground equipment, a weekend food backpack program running short on funding, and an athletics facility that had stalled. The funding existed, if only they had the capacity to find it.

The Solution

College Place started working with Eddi in August 2025 through ESD 123, the regional educational service district serving Southeastern Washington. Within two months, the district secured a Career Preparation and Launch grant for CTE — an early win that established momentum. The shift stemmed from centralizing program, financial, and student data. Each application drew from the same set of facts instead of rebuilding from scratch.

BOOK A DEMO

We joined Eddi for grant writing support, but we quickly found out that it could help us harness AI for a variety of tasks, saving valuable time, money, and resources. I feel like we still have only begun to see what they can do for us.

Impact in Practice

Post-award, required reporting came largely pre-assembled, reducing the ongoing burden of grant management alongside the upfront work of winning the funds in the first place. Over time, every item on College Place's original needs list found its funding: an ADA-compliant playground, an air quality initiative, a weekend food backpack program, and more. Today, leadership uses the same system for comprehensive needs assessments, attendance tracking, and school improvement planning. Principals and directors meet SIP requirements without stitching together data from multiple systems.

BOOK A DEMO

Scaling Student Support Without Adding Headcount

The district is now moving into more structured planning and analysis. The team is leveraging Eddi's AI agents to group students for targeted intervention, supporting college access, dual enrollment, and equitable participation in advanced coursework. The same centralized system
that powered grant applications is now the foundation for attendance tracking and comprehensive needs assessments across the district. College Place didn't add headcount. They added Eddi.
