College Place School District operates with a lean leadership structure serving a student population that is nearly half Hispanic. Grant opportunities were available but pursuing them required additional bandwidth. The list of unmet needs was concrete: ADA non-compliant playground equipment, a weekend food backpack program running short on funding, and an athletics facility that had stalled. The funding existed, if only they had the capacity to find it.
College Place started working with Eddi in August 2025 through ESD 123, the regional educational service district serving Southeastern Washington. Within two months, the district secured a Career Preparation and Launch grant for CTE — an early win that established momentum. The shift stemmed from centralizing program, financial, and student data. Each application drew from the same set of facts instead of rebuilding from scratch.
We joined Eddi for grant writing support, but we quickly found out that it could help us harness AI for a variety of tasks, saving valuable time, money, and resources. I feel like we still have only begun to see what they can do for us.
